Biography
Cristina Ignat, known amongst her Muslim friends as 'Mariam' embraced Islam in 1998.

She has taught grades 9-12 as a volunteer (Geography, Economics , History, etc.) and as a paid
teacher of Math for grades 5-8.

Currently, as a housewife, Cristina aspires to write stories suitable for children of different ages that
are compliant the teachings of Islam that English speaking children would benefit from.
